This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. We have written it to describe what this site actually does, rather than to cover every eventuality.
Who is responsible
Elite Synthetics, LLC, trading as Elite Synthetics, of 16787 Beach Blvd #1015, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, is responsible for personal information collected through this site.

What we collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number if you provide one, and the contents of your order.
The research-use certification you make at checkout, with the date and time you made it. This includes your confirmation that you are 21 years of age or over; we record that you confirmed it, not your date of birth.
When you subscribe to lot notifications: your email address only.
Technical information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address and browser type, which is used to serve the site and to protect it from abuse.
What we do not collect
We do not receive or store your full card number, your bank account number, or your online banking login. Payment details are handled directly by our payment processors.
We do not ask for information about your health, and you should not send us any.
Why we use it
To take payment, fulfill and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
To keep a record of the research-use certification attached to each order, which we rely on when deciding to fulfill it.
To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
To send lot notifications, where you have asked for them. You can stop these at any time using the link in any such email.
Who we share it with
BTCPay Server, for Bitcoin payments. It receives the order total and nothing about you.
Link Money, for bank payments. When you choose to pay by bank, you connect your bank account through Link Money, which receives the information needed to verify the account and move the payment. Link Money handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Shipping carriers, so your order can be delivered.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers, which process data on our behalf under contract.
Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records, including the research-use certification, are kept for as long as required for tax, accounting, and regulatory purposes.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Where deletion would conflict with a legal obligation to retain records — order and tax records in particular — we will explain what we must keep and why.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We apply the rights above to everyone regardless of location.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to order data is restricted to people who need it to run the business.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you where the law requires it.
