These terms govern what our products are, who may buy them, and what a purchaser certifies at checkout. They apply to every order without exception.
Research use only
All products supplied by Elite Synthetics are intended strictly for laboratory and scientific research use. They are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices.
No product on this site is offered for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease or condition. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that any product is safe or effective for any use in humans or animals.
Products are not for human consumption, human administration, or veterinary use.
Who may purchase
Products are offered only to purchasers who are acting as an academic, institutional, or independent researcher, and who are qualified to handle research chemicals safely.
Purchasers must be 21 years of age or over.
We do not sell to consumers for personal use, and we do not sell for any application involving administration to humans or animals.
The certification you make at checkout
Every order requires the purchaser to certify that they are an academic, institutional, or independent researcher, and that the products will not be used for human administration, clinical trials, or agricultural applications.
This certification is recorded against the order with a timestamp. It is a representation you make to us, and we rely on it when deciding to fulfill an order.
An order submitted without this certification will be refused.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for determining that your intended use is lawful in your jurisdiction, and for complying with all applicable laws and institutional requirements governing the possession, handling, storage, and disposal of research chemicals.
You are responsible for handling products safely, using appropriate laboratory practice and protective equipment.
Some products may be subject to additional restrictions in some jurisdictions. Determining this is your responsibility as the purchaser.
Scope of supply
An order consists of the material and the analytical documentation for the lot supplied. That is the whole of what we provide.
Technical questions about a product are answered from its certificate of analysis.
We do not provide medical, veterinary, or scientific advice.
Refusal and cancellation
We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we have reason to believe the products may be used contrary to these terms, or where a certification appears to have been made falsely.
Where we cancel an order before dispatch, we refund it in full.
